Universal Parking has been awarded this new outstanding project and its two parking garages over 1071 spaces. The project encompasses all facets of transit needs for the end user. Universal will lead fully integrated technology systems for this state of the art facility.
The project is strategically located in the heart of the “New Downtown Miami”, Miami Central is Miami’s new business, leisure, dining, and transportation hub. Spanning over six downtown city blocks, Miami Central features luxury rental residences, uniquely connected urban offices, and dynamic retails and entertainment spaces.
Miami Central is a transit-oriented development in downtown Miami, with access to the Brightline. The Brightline is a 235-mile passenger rail service connecting South Florida to Central Florida. Brightline consists of Tri-Rail, Metrorail, Metromover, and Metrobuses. They have two office buildings (2 and 3 Miami Central), twin apartment towers, retail shops, and a Publix market. The 12-story building has set a new standard of urban connectivity and has quickly attracted tenants which include Brightline’s corporate headquarters.
Features of the project include: 95,000 square feet of office space, permanent public local art, and two parking garages totaling 1071 spaces.
